We now know that radiation IS a factor.
Along with earthquakes can come other issues that must be dealt with. Some are even worse disasters than the earthquake. Fukushima comes to mind. Radiation, anyone?
Instead of ranting on the insanity of building a power plant that will last 30 or 40 years, and will also leave-behind deadly waste that must be dealt with for, oh, a half-million years or so, I’ll focus on the measures we can take to deal effectively with increasing levels of radioactive isotopes in the air, in the water, and on our precious Earth’s lands.
