How well you you know your ant hill?
I recommend that you get to know your ant hill…here’s why…
Briefly, if you can find an ant hill somewhere nearby, go watch it for a few minutes every day (and maybe at night, too). Get to know what looks like normal activity. Then, should you have other indicators and want to add one more animal indicator, you can check on the ant hill. If it looks like they are coming out like an erupting volcano, if they are carrying their ant larvae and other luggage, if the activity has increased dramatically as compared to what is usual, then you can add that observation to your list!
